July 22 - Cedar Rapids, IA - Director Joe Link and the stars of ``The Incredible Adventures of Captain Spoon, the Forgetful Pirate'' took part in the Freedom Festival's Great Cardboard Boat Regatta in June. Their boat was one of the first to sink.

Scores of children sporting eye patches and seeking treasure packed the library at 4870 S. 2700 West to get a read on adventure and enjoy fun activities.
