Although the members change, The Pyrates Way boasts a top notch crew of workers who are all engaged in the pirate community. We are more than just a conglomerate of editors, writers, photographers, and artists, we all be pirates with many of us celebrating over twenty years of reenactment and entertainment in the hobby.

Steve Kimball, Publisher

Steve is the founder of The Pyrates Way, Faire Magazine, and The Concordium. Ten years as a U.S. Navy Photojournalist and the rest of his experience as an Art Director have molded Steve into well-rounded, knowledgable expert in Publication Design.

Meredith Eriksen, Managing Editor

Meredith Eriksen has been a Renaissance Faire performer for several years with HM Hounds, she can be seen with her greyhounds at Faires and events up and down the East Coast. Maren Eriksdottir, her pyratical alter ego, joined the circuit in 2005. A personal chef and business consultant based in Maryland, Meredith is also on the management staff of the Virginia Renaissance Faire.

Kevin Arrington, Managing Editor

Kevin's 15+ years experience as technical editor has afforded him the opportunity to blend great quantities of technical reporting and analytical data into flowing, readable pieces of literature. A self-taught historian in world maritime history, he is a media maniac when it comes to all things pyrate.

Brad Howard, Content Editor

Brad Howard, known to most as Captain Fletcher Moone of The Pyrates Royale has pyracy in his blood. Dating back to pre-revolutionary ancestors on MarylandÕs Eastern Shore, Brad is truly a man of the sea. As founding member of the oldests chanty-singing pyrate band in the circuit, his knowledge of pyracy is only superceded by his talent as a singer and entertainer. Pyrates Royale

Chuck Gurrola, Senior West Coast Editor

"Cutthroat Cuppy" writes and photographs just about any event on the west coast for both The Pyrates Way AND Faire Magazine. We're lucky to have him aboard, mates.

Kendra Guffey, West Coast Entertainment Editor

Kendra's tour of duty as a pyrate includes being a major television star on the short-lived CBS Series "Pirate Master." She's been gathering information and contacts for years and has finally agreed to come with us on this journey.

Mary Cook, Account Sales/Proofreader

Mary came on board first as a wench (Issue #12) and then as a proofreader (Iissue #13) and has taken over the task of advertising sales and distribution sales.

Cynthia Kimball, Proof Reader

Part proof reader and part investor, "Noir Cyn" has been at the side of the publisher since before this whole thing was a scheme. Cynthia's attention to detail makes her an ideal proof reader and is the last set of eyes upon each issue before it goes to press.
